Xayvier Haughton was born in Spanish Town Jamaica in the year 1986.  He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at the Edna Manley School of Visual And performing arts in  2014 and is currently enrolled in the MFA Fine at the School of Visual Arts New York. He's heavily focused on the “Afrikan” consciousness as it was a major concern while growing up in Spanish Town, St. Catherine Jamaica. His work seeks to draw on the dorsal black conscience of Afro- Jamaican Family.

Xayvier uses Contemporary and Traditional methods to create unique and several representations of his subjects.
